Due to the saddle shape of the flesh tunnels - narrower in the middle - no holding rubber rings are necessary. The tunnel sits perfectly on the ear and does not slip.

The mineral hematite, also called blood stone or iron luster, is a variant of iron oxide. The name refers to the color and comes from the Greek word "haima" (blood). The name was given to hematite due to its ability to color the grinding water with blood-red dust.
