IRON CROSS:
The Iron Cross is closely associated to Germany since here it represents the highest military commendation. It was founded by emperor Friedrich Wilhelm III. of Prussia in 1813 during the war agains Napoleon and consists of silver rimmed iron. It was awarded in all later wars up to Worldwar 1. As opposed to the swastika the iron cross was never removed from the german iconography.

Templar / Knights Cross:
The "Templar's Cross" (also "paw cross" or "lily cross") was only worn by the elite of the templar knights. The tips of the cross (paws) stood for the connection of intellectual power to the bravery of the knights through the cross of christ.

During the cool down period of the casting process molten stainless steel forms a layer of chromium oxide. This reduces the contact of the skin with the already low nickel content and makes the material hypoallergenic and also lowers the possibility of proliferation of microorganisms and bacteria. Surgical steel is thus first choice for newly made piercings.

The Iron Cross is one of the most distinct symbols for Germany. Emperor Friedrich Wilhelm III. of Prussia endowed it in 1813 during the war against Napoleon. It originally was cast of iron and framed in silver. In all subsequent wars until the end of the WWII (Second World War - WW2) it was bestowed and is until today the symbol for the german army (Bundeswehr).
