- Advantages of stainless steel over silver:
- no tarnishing of the material
- no discoloration of skin or clothing
- much harder than silver and thus practically indestructible
- durable brilliance due to no corrosion
- anti-allergenic
During the cool down period of the casting process molten stainless steel forms a layer of chromium oxide.
This reduces the contact of the skin with the already low nickel content and makes the material hypoallergenic and also lowers the possibility of proliferation
of microorganisms and bacteria. Surgical steel is thus first choice for newly made piercings.
- no discoloring of the skin or clothing
- much harder than silver and practically indestructible
- long lasting shine (corrosion-free)
Dragon (latin draco, greek drákon, "Snake") is a synonym for lizard-like, mostly winged hybrids described in
mythologies and fairy tales. They combine properties of snakes, crocodiles, lions as well as horn-bearing and fire-breathing ones
in different variations. In general, dragons stand for liberation and unleashing and are endowed with strong spiritual
meanings in various cultures and religions worldwide. Often they are thought to be gifted with magical abilities or supernatural
powers and are often associated with wells, rain and rivers, happiness and prosperity, superhuman wisdom and long life.
In some cultures they are attributed the cognitive abilities of human language. In Asia, the mythical creature is considered a lucky charm.
Dragons can also be a symbol for the primordial powers conquered by man, but also primeval fears and dangers not conquered,
that exist underground as well as chaos. In Christian dominated and influenced cultures dragons did and do symbolize the overcome forces
of the personified evil and subjugated missionized, unchristian nations, but also the evil sinful forces of man.
In Celtic tradition, dragons were assigned to the four elements (fire, water, earth, air).
One differentiated between water dragons, earth dragons, air dragons and fire dragons and therefore connected the dragons with
creative and magical primal forces.
In Chinese Horoscope: The dragon was the symbol of the chinese imperial family. The emperor was seated on the "Dragon Throne"
and through his exemplary life the realm was supposed to be positively influenced according to the Confucian Ideal.
People born in the year of the dragon are healthy, energetic, long-lived, volatile, impatient and insistent. On the other hand
they are reliable, honest, brave and show great self-confidence. They strive for harmony and integrity. They are perfectionists
and demand the same of others. They try to only show their best attributes - but sometimes overdo their model role.
Dragons have a firm will and are rather successful - whatever they start. Dragons are the most excentric personalities in the chinese zodiac.
They best match with people of the year of the rat, the rooster, the snake or the monkey.
